Baked Honey Glazed Lime Garlic Salmon Sprinkled With Cilantro

If you haven’t cooked fish before, this is the perfect place to start. Then again, if you have been cooking fish for years, this is still perfect for you. It’s as simple and easy as a recipe could possibly be, yet so, SO incredibly tasty.

Baked Honey Glazed Lime Garlic Salmon Sprinkled With Cilantro is a dish that takes just about 35 mins but stays as a delicious memory for a very long time. This is recipe is easy, healthy and simply mouth watering.

 

Cilantro, freshly squeezed lime, combined with honey and garlic creates a really winning combination of flavors! The recipe is super easy. Place the salmon (1 pound) on a large piece of foil:

Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the salmon:

Fold foil sides and ends up (1 or 2 inches high) tightly around the salmon. Place the salmon in foil on a baking sheet. Do not cover salmon with foil, leave it open and bake it just like that, at 400 F:

After about 20-25 minutes of baking, carefully remove salmon from foil, separating the salmon from the skin which will remain stuck to the foil. Place salmon onto a serving plate. Carefully scoop the sauce from around the salmon and pour over the salmon:

Serve as is or with a serving of rice or greens on the side:

Baked Honey Glazed Lime Garlic Salmon Sprinkled With Cilantro

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 3 garlic cloves minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Pat dry salmon. Brush with 1 tablespoon of olive oil from all sides. Season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon on a large piece of foil. Fold foil sides and ends up (1 or 2 inches high) tightly around the salmon. Place the salmon in foil on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine honey, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and garlic. Mix to combine. Spread this mixture over the salmon.
  4. Do not cover salmon with foil, leave it open (with foil sides up) and bake it just like that, at 400 F for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove salmon from foil, separating the salmon from the skin which will remain stuck to the foil. Place the salmon onto a serving plate. Carefully scoop the sauce from around the salmon and pour over the salmon.
  6. NOTES: - Don't stress about the size of your salmon fillet. This recipe is very forgiving and works for one very large salmon, a couple of medium-sized fillets, or even several small individual fillets.
